Approximately 61 million people in the United States experience disability, but there are relatively few health and education professionals with expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities (ASD/DD).
The Mailman Center has always sought to fill this gap by providing advanced training for graduate students in many disciplines, as well as trainings and continuing education opportunities for community professionals, individuals with disabilities, and family members on best practices and emerging issues that impact children and adults with disabilities and their families.
