Promoting Early Childhood Development in the Era of COVID: Practice, Policy, and Future Opportunities

Tuesday, February 8th, 2022
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

In the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the interdisciplinary efforts of educators, therapists, policymakers and health professionals are crucial to promoting healthy child development. In response to this need, the Mailman Center’s 2022 Innovation and Connection Conference will bring together experts in early childhood development to discuss challenges and opportunities for the care and wellness of young children as they grow up in a pandemic. Speakers will discuss the physical and emotional impacts of COVID-19 on children 0-5 and their families and highlight ways in which early childhood personnel and allied health professionals can better support young children’s well-being and development through practice and policy.

Who should attend?

Childhood personnel and allied health professionals (e.g., speech, social work, psychology, other therapists) working with young children 0-5.
