Date Program Tables are updated: 9/05/24

Briefly describe in narrative form important information to assist potential applicants in assessing their likely fit with your program. This description must be consistent with the program’s policies on intern selection and practicum and academic preparation requirements.

The University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development Internship program prepares trainees for entry level practice in health service psychology, with emphasis on clinical child and pediatric psychology.  As such, applicants should have strong child clinical backgrounds with experience in evidence-based assessment and interventions approaches with children and families.  Coursework and/or practicum experience in pediatric psychology is also preferred.
