Seeking Patient Care?
For more than 35 years, the department has conducted the most advanced patient care, medical instruction, and research – all with the goal of helping more people regain function in order to lead more active and fulfilling lives.
Each year, our doctors administer care through 45,000 outpatient and 9,000 orthopaedic emergency room visits and perform more than 10,000 surgical procedures.
In concert with Jackson Memorial Hospital, our training program advances the training of 35 residents and eight fellows in hand, musculoskeletal oncology, sports medicine, spine, and ortho trauma.
We are currently ranked in the top 25 of the 209 orthopeadic training programs in the country (Doximity). In addition to learning to diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal problems, our residents and fellows are also expected to perform research to advance the field of medicine.
Musculoskeletal research is at the precipice of major breakthroughs that are likely to change and simplify the way bone and joint disorders are treated throughout the world.
Our Miller School team is at the vanguard of these advancements and more.
