“The fellowship program faculty is dedicated to the highest quality of fellow training and education, as well as providing the fellow with professionalism, decision-making skills, as well as comprehensive surgical skills. Nonetheless, the holistic approach to the patient is taught, emphasizing patient care, establishing a humane and warm relationship with the patient and families. During this year, I was exposed to difficult and complex sarcoma cases, received endless opportunities for independence in the operating room, and by all means, was an integral part of the team. One of the best aspects of this year was the unique relationship and friendship I was privileged to gain with my superiors and co-fellow.”
