The talented team of pathologists in the Breast Pathology Service of the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is a keystone of the department working closely with the clinicians as the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and other clinical departments specializing in the case of breast cancer patients.
The faculty of the Breast Pathology Service combines expertise in the diagnosis of common and challenging breast lesions with years of experience in the application of prognostic and predictive molecular markers. This service evaluates approximately 2200 in-house cases a year and provides international and national consultation services. The division also provides specialized laboratory testing including immunohistochemistry and FISH for the diagnosis, staging, and treatment of breast cancer patients.

Biography: Natalie Pula was born in New York. She received her BA from CUNY Baccalaureate for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies, then received her MD Saint George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, and lastly completed her Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System.
