Clinical Trials

Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery

Our Department enrolls patients, coordinates, and carries out research studies. By participating in a dermatological study, you may have the opportunity to assist us in answering questions and discovering new treatments and techniques to improve dermatological conditions. If you have a disease that is currently being studied and would like to participate in a clinical trial (or would like more information about participating), please contact us at 305-243-8485.

2 Ways to Refer Prospective Subjects

  1. If the treating physician IS a study team member and the patient gives their permission to be contacted, you can send us their MRN and name and we will contact them directly.
  2. If the treating physician is NOT a study team member, the IRB considers it a HIPAA violation to send us PHI. The patient must make contact with us first. You can provide the study team's contact information, the general recruitment handout or the study-specific flyer. These will be available throughout all clinics.
