Where to Get Covid-19 Vaccine Assistance

The following sites offer help to individuals with disabilities who would like to get the COVID-19 vaccine in Miami-Dade County.

For individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Disability Rights Florida

Disability Rights Florida is now offering vaccine assistance for people with disabilities, including:

  • Assistance scheduling a vaccination appointment
  • Providing a reminder for a second vaccination appointment
  • Arranging accessible transportation to a vaccination appointment
  • Answer questions regarding COVID-19 vaccination

Vaccine Access Help-Line

This Disability Information and Access Line (DIAL) help-line is available to anyone with a disability who is seeking help for vaccine access.

Homebound Testing

Anyone who lives in Miami-Dade or Broward County, regardless of age, and can’t leave their home, or their bed, due to a medical condition or a disability, can make a homebound COVID testing appointment if they have symptoms or were exposed to COVID-19.

Miami-Dade hotline: 305-614-1716 (Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Broward County hotline: 954-412-7300 (Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
