The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases will host the scientific meeting on June 5-6, 2025 at the University of Miami Student Center Complex in Coral Gables, Florida.
The agenda format will follow the 2020 Scientific Meeting on C. auris hosted by the NIH with four half-day sessions spanning two days. We invite basic scientists, clinicians, environmental researchers, public health and infection prevention professionals involved in research efforts on the topic of C. auris to register to attend.
The meeting will include a poster session and reception. The planning committee invites abstracts on research that address the four session themes and focal points of C. auris research:
- Epidemiology & Community Environmental Sampling
- Infection Prevention & Healthcare Environmental Sampling
- Basic Sciences
- Clinical Management
Abstract Guidelines
Abstracts will be competitively selected. Priority will be given to early-stage investigators, as well as pilot awardees. Established investigators, postdoctoral fellows and other trainees, students, and staff are also eligible. Abstracts are limited to 300 words maximum and must be organized in the following four sections:
- Background
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
Submission and Timeline
