The Department of Physical Therapy is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). The University of Miami is accredited by the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACS) Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities.

• UM has been consistently rated as one of the top 10 physical therapy programs in the United States since 1995.
• Historically, more than 90% of our graduates have passed the licensing examination on their first attempt.

Value

Because we made a decision to minimize the cost burden our students must bear, UM’s tuition is lower than many of the other top rated private schools.

UM also has block tuition. This means your tuition costs will be same every semester for the duration of the program.
