Soe Htet Arker, M.D.
Dr. Arker was originally from Myanmar (Burma). He graduated from the University of Medicine, Mandalay. After moving to the United States, he pursued his post-graduate medical training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and watching movies/TV series while spending time with his friends and family.
Juan Coca-Guzman, M.D.
Juan Coca Guzman was born in Bolivia and raised in Northern Virginia. He received his MD from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and went on to complete his anatomic and clinical pathology residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He enjoys trying new restaurants and practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu in his spare time.
Melissa Duarte
Melissa Duarte was born in New York, USA and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She received her MD from the Universidad El Bosque. After finishing the social service year, she started to be interested in Immunology. Later, she emigrated to the United States as an observer at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital where she discovered her true passion in Pathology. Melissa completed her Anatomic & Clinical Pathology Residency training at University of Miami/Jackson Health System and will complete a Hematopathology fellowship in 2024-25. In her free time, she enjoys swimming at the beach, and spending time with “abuela” with a good cup of Colombian coffee.
Varsha Prakash, M.D.
I was born and raised in India. I received my MD from Government Medical College Thiruvananthapuram, India. I relocated to the United States with my family. I completed my Anatomic & Clinical Pathology Residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. My other fields of interest are Breast and Genitourinary Pathology. In my leisure time, I enjoy Indian classical dancing, spending quality time with my husband and son, watching movies, and traveling.
