Most of the mentors in this focus area are working on disease-specific studies in the clinical departments. It offers rare involvement in applying translational research to that in the clinic across a broad spectrum of medical fields, empowering you to pursue a topic of interest to you. Projects have included work on innovative drug discoveries, analysis of clinical trials data, study of outcomes as diagnostic tools, and application of therapeutics.
