The University of Miami’s Endourology Fellowship provides comprehensive training in advanced endoscopic management of complex stone disease, upper tract urothelial carcinoma, upper tract strictures and Endoscopic enucleation of prostate.
Fellows will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technology and learn to apply cutting-edge, evidence-based approaches to patient care.
Our program is based at a high-volume academic medical center, offering diverse case exposure, interdisciplinary collaboration, and robust research opportunities in endourology and minimally invasive surgery.
Program Leadership
Clinical & Research Training
Fellows will:
- Perform complex ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), and Holmium laser enucleation of prostate.
- Gain expertise in endourological management of ureteric strictures, upper tract urothelial cancer, and complications after radical cystectomy.
- Engage in clinical and translational research with mentorship from faculty.
- Present at national and international conferences.
- Mentor the residents and medical students and transfer the skills and knowledge they acquire to junior colleagues.
- Learn to interpret imaging in urology and perform both ultrasound and fluoroscopy-guided percutaneous renal access.
- Engage in metabolic evaluation and medical management of urolithiasis.
