The Infertility & Andrology Fellowship at the University of Miami offers advanced, subspecialty training in the evaluation and treatment of male infertility, sexual dysfunction, and andrologic disorders.
Based within the Desai Sethi Urology Institute, this one-year fellowship provides high-volume clinical and surgical exposure, along with opportunities for impactful research and academic growth.
Fellows work closely with experts in urology, reproductive endocrinology, and microsurgery, gaining the skills necessary to become leaders in male reproductive health.

Fellows gain experience in:
- Male infertility evaluation and management
- Microsurgical sperm retrieval and varicocelectomy
- Vasectomy reversal techniques
- Erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease management
- Male hypogonadism and hormone therapy
- Collaborative care with reproductive endocrinology for IVF coordination
Research Opportunities
Fellows are encouraged to pursue clinical or translational research in:
- Male reproductive outcomes
- Sperm retrieval techniques and technologies
- Novel treatments for erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease
- Men’s health and hormonal therapies
Fellows present at national meetings and are supported in publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts.

Application & Eligibility
Applicants must have completed an ACGME-accredited Urology residency. This fellowship is non-ACGME and follows an internal selection process.
