Medical Student Rotation

Department of Radiation Oncology

We welcome interested third or fourth-year medical students from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine or outside medical schools to rotate in our radiation oncology department.

Our department is located within an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in the subtropical climate of Miami. The radiation oncology department at the University of Miami/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center cares for a diverse population within the South Florida community with access to the latest technology including a brand-new proton center (opened Fall 2020), MRI-guided Linac, Gamma Knife, TrueBeam Linac and an in-house brachytherapy suite. Our faculty are actively engaged in educating trainees including medical students.
