Seeking Patient Care?
Our program is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of radiation oncologists who excel as both skilled clinicians and compassionate leaders. Miami's dynamic growth, rich diversity, and emergence as a hub for innovation provide an unparalleled backdrop for your training. Here, you will find a program designed to prepare you for a successful career while inspiring you to lead, innovate, and make a lasting impact on the communities you serve.
Residents gain a comprehensive training experience across diverse clinical settings through our partnerships with both public and private institutions. This diverse exposure ensures residents develop proficiency in managing a wide range of clinical scenarios. Our program provides hands-on education in cutting-edge radiation oncology techniques, including proton therapy, brachytherapy, adaptive radiotherapy, and specialized procedures like eye plaque treatments.
Our commitment to excellence extends beyond clinical training, with research serving as a cornerstone of advancing cancer care. Residents are supported with a dedicated research year and we support up to 21 months of research through the “B. Leonard Holman Pathway.” Whether pursuing clinical studies or laboratory investigations, residents are encouraged to push the boundaries of knowledge and innovation. We provide extensive resources to help residents present their findings at national conferences, ensuring their work makes a meaningful impact in the field.
We are thrilled to welcome residents who are driven, compassionate, and eager to embrace the opportunities offered by our program and vibrant city. If you’re seeking a training experience that blends rigorous academic preparation with the energy and diversity of one of the world’s most dynamic cities, we invite you to join us.
We look forward to welcoming you to Miami and embarking on this exciting journey together!
