Curriculum and Didactic Training
The educational aspect of the program begins with 12-24 months in research. The remaining time will be spent on the gynecologic oncology services at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami Hospital.
During the four year program, fellows attend weekly and monthly didactics, conferences, grand rounds, and seminars. All fellows (including research fellows) are required to attend these conferences. The fellows’ time is protected to allow attendance. Including the following:

- Tumor Board
- Morbidity and Mortality Conference
- Didactic Series Conference
- Journal Club
- Literature/Chapter Review
- Site Disease Group Research Meetings
- Weekly Obstetics and Gynecology Grand Rounds
- Weekly Multidisciplinary Disposition Conferences
- Gynecologic Oncology Core Curriculum lectures
- Pre-operative and In-patient Conferences
