Stephanie Ioannou, M.D.
Biography: Stephanie Ioannou is a native of Miami, Florida. She was accepted into an accelerated BS/MD degree program, completing her medical education at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2018. She subsequently completed her residency and was a chief medical resident at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Internal Medicine residency program. She is currently in her final year of gastroenterology fellowship and is serving as chief fellow for this academic year. She plans to pursue a career in academic gastroenterology with a focus in inflammatory bowel diseases.
Gabriella Raffa, M.D.
Biography: Gabriella Raffa is a Clinical Instructor and Advanced IBD Fellow at the University of Miami. She earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency and chief residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. She then moved to Nashville to complete her Gastroenterology fellowship at Vanderbilt University, where she also graduated with a Master's of Science in Clinical Investigation. She returned home to South Florida and joined the University of Miami Crohn’s and Colitis Center to specialize in the care of complex IBD patients.

Biography: Eytan Stern is a registered dietitian with the University of Miami Crohn’s and Colitis Center. He is originally from New Jersey, where he completed his didactic program in dietetics at Montclair State University. He then completed both his dietetic internship and Master of Science degree at Mississippi State University before relocating to South Florida. Eytan, who was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2012, has first-hand knowledge of the impact dietary therapies can play in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. For the last 4 years Eytan has provided outpatient nutrition counseling for the Crohn’s and Colitis Center and recently transitioned into a research position supporting multiple dietary studies in the IBD population. He also completed the inaugural Cedar Sinai Advanced Dietary IBD Education and Training (DIET) Program: Beyond Malnutrition.
