We have unique teaching and learning preferences. Applying various learning strategies, and understanding educational pedagogy makes our courses more engaging. These strategies adopt a constructivist approach and recognize learning is an active process of constructing knowledge.
The constructivist approach encourages self-reflection on one’s existing practice to better engage in collaborative learning by building new understanding through interactive and experiential activities. Incorporating pedagogy in practice creates transformative learning experiences ultimately enhancing the quality of medical education and patient care.
