To encourage our students to maintain fiscal responsibility, the Office of Student financial Assistance offers presentations on different topics that can assist you while in medical school and beyond. Below is the schedule for the Spring 2019 semester. We encourage ALL medical students to take advantage of these opportunities to meet and talk with professionals.

Repayment Calculators
Offered with ZOOM, this informal and interactive online workshop is an absolute must if you want to know which calculators to use (and how) for the best repayment and forgiveness estimates.  Most calculators do NOT know how to distinguish between your income as residents and fellows and attending physicians, thus you can get repayment and forgiveness estimates that are not even close to being accurate.  We will look in detail at the AAMC Medloans Organizer and Calculator.  Open to all students in all classes, this session COUNTS as your annual required participation in the “Every Student Every Year” educational debt management program.
