Student Life at the Miller School of Medicine

Office of Medical Education

Students at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine — known as #MedCanes — train in Miami's Civic Center Health District alongside Jackson Memorial Hospital and the Miami VA. Outside the classroom, students lead dozens of organizations, run the Department of Community Service's free clinics and health fairs, publish two student journals, and are elected to two national honor societies.

Whether you’re just getting started, or weeks away from graduation, we’re here to provide you with all the information and resources you need to make the most of your education. Faculty and staff are dedicated to helping you discover your true potential, whether you want to focus on patient care, research, or medical education.

These resources will help you along your journey to becoming the next generation of world-renowned researchers and physicians.
