The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is housed in the state-of-the-art Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center for the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis.
Our faculty members are engaged in a wide variety of clinical research projects to understand, prevent, treat, and recover physical and/or cognitive impairments and disabilities. Our department currently has six sponsored research programs and one of them is funded by the National Institute of Health, one of the world’s foremost medical research centers.
