Research

In addition to our clinical services, we support clinical research in the field of obstetrics and gynecology through our committed team of faculty, postgraduate fellows, residents, and medical students. We have been engaged in clinical research for many years in areas related to safer and less painful surgical procedures than conventional open surgeries. Our faculty have demonstrated excellence in performing clinical research and in training new investigators.

Education

The Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery is committed to educating healthcare practitioners at all levels of medical training. We provide both classroom-based and clinical instruction to our learners to gain an understanding of the competencies required in the various aspects of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Training at our clinical sites gives medical students, OB-GYN residents, and fellows opportunities to care for patients from a wide range of diverse backgrounds and experiences. Our wide-reaching gynecologic patient population, combined with a committed faculty, creates a rich environment for medical students, residents, and fellows to train in our vibrant community.
