Fellowship

General Neurology Division

The fellowship in general neurology will consist of 1 year of intensive exposure to all aspects of diseases of the nervous system, both central and peripheral, inpatient and outpatient. Diagnostic strategies based on logical application of anatomy and physiology will be stressed. All available treatments for the conditions evaluated will be discussed using current literature and the personal experience of the staff general neurologists, and treatment plans will then be implemented. The extensive and diverse patient population available to a tertiary referral center and large county hospital will assure that the fellow will be fully prepared to evaluate and treat any neurological problem which he/she might encounter. On the academic side, the fellowship will also include the opportunity to teach residents and medical students on a regular basis, write papers, and to participate in clinical research if desired. All in all, this year of training will result in the development of an eminently competent neurologist who will be prepared for any future career path.

Eligible applicants must be eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and be Neurology board-certified or board eligible. If interested, please submit CV to General Neurology Program or contact:
