Seeking patient care?
Patients can be seen on a purely consultative basis with recommendations made to the referring physician, or for continuing care if desired. If inpatient evaluation is needed, patients will be admitted to our teaching service at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where the resident staff functions under our direct supervision. In the near future we hope to have evaluations done by resident physicians in the outpatient setting as well. As we are a major teaching institution, we feel that our goals of superior patient care and medical education can be successfully combined to enrich the experience of our patients and our physicians in training.
We utilize the full range of specialty services at the Miller School of Medicine when needed, and work closely with our neurologic specialists as a team. In this way, the Division of General Neurology can proudly be considered the “gateway” to all neurologic services at the University of Miami.
