Internal Medicine-Pediatrics

Welcome to the Division of Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds).

Stefanie BrownMed-Peds physicians are dually board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and care for patients of all ages in the Mother-Baby unit, the Pediatric Inpatient services at Holtz Children’s Hospital, adult inpatient services at UHealth Tower and our affiliate Jackson Memorial Hospital and in our premier primary care practice in Palmetto Bay.  You can also find Med-Peds trained physicians in several subspecialties in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics.

Our Vision

We pledge through our work to enhance healthcare for children and adults spanning the continuum of life, to provide a stable primary care network for the transition of children with special healthcare needs, to teach student and residents the discipline of combined Adult and Pediatric practice in a variety of settings.

Our Mission

The mission of the Division of Med-Peds is to lead the advancement of innovative healthcare throughout the lifespan by leveraging collaborations unique to the specialty, to train the next generation of Med-Peds physician leaders, to continually expand the contributions of the faculty to academic scholarship and institutional programs, and to improve the health of the local community through partner engagement and advocacy. The Division is primarily located in the Department of Medicine but has strong ties to the Department of Pediatrics through the training of residents and active contributions of current faculty.
