Joining Biology and Veterinary Communities to Build a Better Understanding of E. cuniculi Infection in Rabbits.
While a tremendous body of literature on Encephalitozoon cuniculi infection in rabbits is available, diagnosis and successful treatment remains challenging. The primary goal of this workshop is to provide a robust foundation of information on E. cuniculi joining together biologists, researchers, pathologists, and clinicians.
This workshop will serve as an excellent primer on this parasite and the infectious process in rabbits. Basic and advanced diagnostics will be reviewed as well as options for treatment.
Case presentations will be a core element of the workshop. Focused pre-recorded presentations by the presenters will be made available prior to the workshop. Questions sent prior to and during the live event will form the basis of highly interactive sessions among attendees and workshop speakers.
