Outreach Committee

As part of our educational outreach, we would use our graduate students to partner with early educational programs to promote a love for science and demystify STEM careers. We will be performing demos and field days to explain to students that a career in STEM is invigorating and exciting and can be done even as an athlete, an artist, or any extracurricular activities they chose. We will also build a bridge between STEM undergraduate and graduate students so that the STEM undergraduate students are informed about all the opportunities for them to succeed in their STEM career. By reaching out to undergraduates we will be providing them to build their resume and gain experiences.

As part of our social outreach, we will be promoting a love for science and the need for scientists in underprivileged areas. By doing this, we will provide underprivileged students the ability to learn from graduate students and provide demos that are not normally taught in early educational programs.

Many of the programs that we would like to partner with run on donations to exist. We would like to do our part in supporting other organizations by running fundraisers. Fundraisers such as book and food drives, volunteering in educational camps, and much more.
