The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital offers a 12-month, ACGME-accredited fellowship in Chronic Pain Medicine. This fellowship combines advanced, unique, and abundant clinical training with the opportunity to engage in research and education.
Fellows will gain expertise in the practice and theory of chronic pain management techniques, and the understanding of the related physiology and pharmacology.
The fellowship begins on August 15. Our interview season begins the year prior around May and may run through August.
Requirements
Must have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited program in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Neurology residency, or other residency program with rotations in related specialties. Candidates must be eligible to take the board examination in their respective specialty by the start of fellowship.
