Mentor Program

The Miami CFAR Developmental Core Mentoring Program is designed to support early career investigators, junior faculty, and researchers new to HIV/AIDS by fostering strong, structured mentoring relationships. Through a formal Mentor/Mentee agreement, the program sets clear expectations, measurable goals, and a framework for professional development grounded in accountability and open communication. The Core is committed to maintaining a high-quality, ethically sound mentoring environment that equips participants with the skills, resources, and guidance needed to pursue independent, federally funded research careers. Participants are expected to dedicate time to their development, uphold the highest ethical standards, and engage in meaningful mentorship that advances interdisciplinary HIV/AIDS research.
