The Miami-Dade County Medical Reserve Corps University of Miami Response Team (MDCMRC-UMRT) organizes and mobilizes medical professionals and other volunteers who want to donate their time and expertise to augment public health activities, generally related to disaster preparation and response.

MDCMRC-UMRT volunteers are a part of the Miami-Dade County Medical Reserve Corps unit which is a resource of Miami-Dade County. In the event of an emergency, MDCMRC-UMRT members may be called upon to supplement existing public health resources within Miami-Dade County.

How to Join

If you are ready to join the MDCMRC-UMRT, you must first follow the steps to join the Miami-Dade County Medical Reserve Corps by clicking here. Once you have completed the process, contact Ana Luna at aluna@med.miami.edu or 305-243-6737 and request that you be added to the University of Miami Response Team (UMRT).
