An impressive group of 202 newly minted medical students have taken the first step in their lifelong journey to transform lives and serve our global community. The Class of 2029, carefully selected from a group of nearly 10,000 applicants, joined the Miller School from 25 states across the U.S and 68 undergraduate institutions nationwide.
Throughout their medical school journey, these aspiring physician leaders will acquire a comprehensive understanding of medicine, starting from the fundamentals of biology to the intricacies of clinical care delivery. And through the NextGenMD curriculum, they’ll learn how to tackle health care’s most complex challenges while recognizing and meeting the diverse needs of each patient they encounter.
