Match Day Results

The University of Miami Miller School has a history of an exceptional match rate, and this year was no different.

The Class of 2025 achieved a 100% placement rate on Match Day. The Miller School’s match rate is 97%, above the average national average of 94.1%.

Class of 2025 Stats

The Miller School Class of 2025 students were highly competitive nationally, matching in 25 specialties across the country at top-tier institutions like Johns Hopkins University, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, Weill-Cornell, and Washington University and many others.  

They will attend residency in 31 states, with 57 staying in Florida, including 40 at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System. Sixty percent of the graduates are female. 

The top specialties included: 

  • Internal Medicine (27)
  • Psychiatry (17)
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology (15)
  • Emergency Medicine (14)

The students were the second class to complete all four years of medical school with the revolutionary NextGenMD curriculum. NextGenMD focuses on early exposure to the clinical setting, small-group learning and mentorship.
