Application Process

Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Integrated Residency

The Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Integrated Residency is a 5 years ACGME accredited program.

Postgraduate Training Requirement

MD or DO degree from an institution accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

Application Deadline

Applications are accepted via the Electronic Residency Application System. Applications are accepted September to November. Interviews are conducted from October through February.

Application/Eligibility Requirements

We participate in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). All of our categorical and advanced training class positions are filled through the NRMP.

All residency applicants must successfully complete Step 1 of the USMLE prior to acceptance into the residency program. Applicants may be accepted into the program prior to completion of USMLE Step 2 Clinical Knowledge and Step 2 Clinical Skills and graduation from medical school. While they may be accepted prior to these accomplishments, no applicant will be allowed to begin the program unless they have successfully graduated from their medical school and have taken and passed USMLE Steps I, II CK and II CS.

Should these requirements not be completed by April 30 of the starting year, the offer of a fellowship or residency position may be withdrawn.

Board Exam Requirements

USMLE or Comprehensive Medical Licensing Examination Parts 1 and 2 before start of residency. USMLE or COMLEX Part 3 before start of Clinical Anesthesia curriculum.

Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship

The Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship is a 2 years ACGME accredited program.

Postgraduate Training Requirement

5 years general surgery before fellowship.

Application Deadline

Applications are accepted via the Electronic Residency Application System. Interviews are conducted from October through February.

Application/Eligibility Requirements

We participate in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). All of our categorical and advanced training class positions are filled through the NRMP.

All fellowship applicants must successfully complete Step 1 Step 2 Clinical Knowledge, Step 2 Clinical Skills of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), and completed a general surgery residency prior to acceptance into the fellowship program.
