The Comprehensive Center for Brain Health (CCBH) was created to change this. Here, we provide a personalized approach to brain health and improving the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and cure for common age-related neurodegenerative diseases such as mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Lewy Body Dementia, Frontotemporal Degeneration, Vascular Cognitive impairment, and chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
Our center uses a transdisciplinary approach in all of our research projects and clinical care, combining the best practices of neurology, gerontology, nursing, social work, psychotherapy, integrative nutrition, mindfulness, lifestyle modification, physical therapy, falls prevention, public health, medical education, epidemiology, and biostatistics.
