The NIH announces additional funding opportunities available as administrative supplements to the Miami CFAR Grant through the NIH Program Office. The purpose of the administrative supplements is to support innovative research projects, inter-CFAR meetings, and shared instrumentation that address key gaps in HIV/AIDS and will advance the field. Each year the NIH provides more detail on the scientific areas of interest based on the NIH HIV/AIDS Research Priorities. 

To support the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative by addressing the four key EHE pillars (Diagnose, Treat, Prevent, and Respond), the NIH invites eligible CFARs to collaborate with local, county and state health departments, CBOs, and clinics funded by the CDC, HRSA, SAMHSA, or IHS. The EHE supplements are implementation science research projects that support the local EHE plans with input from the area community.
