This new advisory group will work in conjunction with the FL-PR CReSD’s Research/Education Training Program (RETP) Oversight Committee, a multidisciplinary team that includes neurologists, internists, health disparities experts and patients/caregivers. Members responsibilities of the FL-PR CReSD Patient and Caregiver Advisory Group include reviewing, commenting on, and adding actionable items to future and existing curricula of the RETP to ensure items of importance to patients are being included in the educational and training activities. The RETP finds much value in expanding the scope and impact of their educational and training activities to include community and patient representation; therefore, these contributions are invaluable.
