Many volunteer their services as their contribution to help researchers advance the science. The Brain Bank pays others a fee for their services.
Our pathologists help us according to precise protocols to ensure the quality of donated brain and tissues. The University of Miami Brain Endowment Bank™ maintains a 24-hour trained procurement staff.
