Public Safety Intranet
University policy requires that all bicycles kept on campus be registered with the Public Safety Department. Registration is free and if your bike is every lost, stolen, or confiscated registration will aid in identifying and returning your bicycle.
How to Register and Claim a Free U-Lock
Just bring your bicycle or Micromobility device and University ID to the Public Safety Department Operations Office — located at 1501 NW 9th Avenue, Suite 100 — between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You will be given a unique registration decal and, if you ride your bike on campus at least 5 days per month and it is your first time register, a free lock.
U-Locks may also be purchased for $20.
Securing your Bicycle
University policy requires all bikes & micromobility devices that are not in use to be secured to a bike rack or safely locked in a bicycle locker.
When you secure your bike or micromobility to a rack, be sure to secure the lock around a closed section of the bicycle or micromobility frame, not a tire, seat, or other removable part.
Bicycle lockers are Available inside the 14th Street Garage, between the Fox Building and Rosenstiel Medical Science Building (RMSB), and near Jackson West parking garage (Green Garage).
Simply bring your white access card (Indala card) to the Public Safety Office once you have registered your bike.
