Flexible Endoscopy and Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery Curriculum

This curriculum is designed to provide general surgery training programs with a stepwise, milestone-based curriculum that includes both didactic and hands-on training. Upon successful completion of the curriculum, the general surgery resident will possess the knowledge and skill to be proficient in surgical endoscopy and laparoscopy. Resident must also complete the SAGES FES and FLS modules during their training. 

Robotics Training

Residents will have early access to Davinci training 1st assist training within their intern year. Intuitive medical training curriculum integrated into the 5-year program. With the goal of the graduating resident is Da Vinci robotic certified upon graduation.

Program Accommodations

During the residents away rotations at Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Hospital, the program provides housing accommodations at Dominion Towers Apartments in Miami located 7-10 minutes walking distance.
