Welcome to the University of Miami at Holy Cross General Surgery Residency Program. We are very excited to be recruiting for our Class of 2030 this academic year.
Our program brings in the resources and experience of the University of Miami Miller School Of Medicine together with the award winning clinical environment of Holy Cross Hospital. Together with the Internal Medicine and Transitional Year Residency Programs, the Holy Cross Campus of the University of Miami Graduate Medical Education Programs provides an alternative teaching and learning environment to the traditional residency experience. Our residents work alongside experienced clinicians practicing in a state-of-the-art community hospital in beautiful Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
Residents will train not only in the fundamentals of general surgery but have access to advanced training in laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Rotations at the world-renowned Jackson Ryder Trauma Center and Burn Unit as well as Holtz Children’s Hospital will round out our residents’ experience.
