Alumni Credentialing & Verification

The Online Diploma Service is now available through the Michael Sutter Company, official diploma vendor for the University of Miami:

Order a replacement/additional diploma - Order the MD diploma easily online. Please choose Standard Delivery or Express Overnight Delivery. There is a $30 charge for each paper diploma ordered. The diploma will be printed and mailed within 1-2 days of the order, provided there are no holds. The name on the diploma will default to the official name of the student record at graduation.

Order an Official eDiploma - The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine eDiploma is a signed and certified PDF of the original paper diploma used for diploma verification and credentialing. The eDiploma has a one-time charge of $5. The eDiploma is received within minutes of ordering and can be shared as needed.

Diploma Status - Search the status of your diploma order whether it is your new diploma or replacement diploma.

Apostille Services – Available notarization of diploma. Please contact medregistrar@med.miami.edu for any questions.

Parchment orders fulfill requests for eDiplomas as required for credentialing. All other diploma orders are submitted directly to Michael Sutter.

Alumni participating in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and/or Supplemental Offers and Acceptance Program (SOAP) must complete a Token Request Form and e-mail it to MEDRegistrar@med.miami.edu. ERAS will reply with the token.

Please use the Medical Institution Document Upload Service (MIDUS) to enroll in ERAS. Designate the Registrar’s Office as the contact utilizing the email Medregistrar@med.miami.edu. ERAS will email the registrar’s office requesting the Coordinator of Alumni Services upload the transcript and MSPE thereby releasing notification from ERAS to the requestor.

Please request the transcript directly with Parchment online. Parchment will securely deliver the transcript to FCVS. The Coordinator for Alumni Services uploads the remaining credentials to FCVS via DocuSign, a Digital Transaction Management platform. 

Transcripts are ordered with Parchment online and are available in both electronic PDF and hard copy formats.

The Dean’s Letter (MSPE) is ordered with Parchment online and is available in both electronic PDF and hard copy. It cannot be faxed or given directly to the student or graduate.

Instructions for Medical Board of California License

Complete the top portion of Form MED (Certificate of Medical Education) which you will find in the license application packet. Upload the form to Parchment when you order the official transcript and certified diploma.  

Instructions for other State Medical Board Licensure

Complete/sign the applicant information section on the medical Board’s form (if any) and upload the form to Parchment when you order the required documents.
