Stipend and Pay Supplement
- PGY-2: Annual Stipend - $71,454.01; Bi-Weekly Stipend - $2,748.23
- PGY-3: Annual Stipend - $74,365.87; Bi-Weekly Stipend - $2,860.23
- PGY-4: Annual Stipend - $78,209.48; Bi-Weekly Stipend - $3,008.06
- PGY-5: Annual Stipend - $81,302.38; Bi-Weekly Stipend - $3,127.01
- Pay Supplement: An additional $75.00 bi-weekly.
Insurance
- Medical Insurance: AvMed Jackson First, AvMed Select HMO, and AvMed POS. (No cost to the employee for the Jackson First Plan. Employees are responsible for 100% of dependent premiums.)
- Dental Insurance: Delta Dental DHMO and PPO available at no cost to the employee. Employee covers 100% of dependent premiums for both plans.
- Vision Insurance: Davis Vision Plan (Employee responsible for both employee and dependent premiums.)
- Mental Health Insurance: Optum for employees and dependents.
- Disability Insurance: No cost to the employee, covering 60% of monthly earnings up to $3,500/month.
- Life Insurance: Basic coverage of $50,000 at no cost, with optional supplemental insurance available.
Professional Allowances
- $2,500 per residency academic year for professional development.
- $1,500 meal card per year for use at Jackson Memorial Hospital and $1,500 for University of Miami.
- Two new lab coats and scrubs provided per residency academic year.
- Parking: Discounted rate of $5.54 bi-weekly.
Vacation and Sick Leave
Vacation: 28 days per residency academic year (including weekends and holidays).
Sick Leave: 14 days per residency academic year (including one wellness day).
