Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics

Department of Pediatrics
Pediatricians in the Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine care for children with all kinds of developmental and/or behavioral issues ranging from autism to intellectual disabilities, ADHD to depression, learning difficulties to anxiety disorders, school issues to temper tantrums, genetic disorders to metabolic issues, and many more.
All of our pediatricians are board-certified in both general pediatrics and developmental and behavioral pediatrics. All of them are engaged in research studies and clinical trials that will lead to the newest and best treatments for these disorders.  Several of our faculty serve on national committees working to improve the lives of children, as well as teaching physicians all over the country how to integrate the care of children with mental health problems into their primary care practices.
