Seeking patient care?
During training, fellows rotate through various clinical services, including neurosurgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, and neuropathology. These rotations allow fellows to gain exposure to different aspects of neuro-oncology and be mentored in the field. Fellows can participate in patient care, attend multidisciplinary tumor boards, and engage in clinical research activities.
In addition to clinical rotations, fellows will participate in a series of didactic lectures modeled using the UCNS guidelines, and the core content is provided in the Neuro-oncology Core Curriculum. These lectures are led by faculty members who are experts in their respective fields and provide fellows with a solid foundation in diagnosing, treating, and managing neuro-oncology patients.
As part of the fellowship program, fellows will have the opportunity to engage in research activities under the guidance of our dedicated research faculty. Fellows may participate in ongoing research projects and this experience allows fellows to contribute to advancing knowledge in neuro-oncology.
