Priscila Pechim, M.D.
Dr. Priscila Pechim is an anesthesiologist from Brazil. She earned her medical degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, which included an international medical exchange year at the University of Pisa in Italy, and completed her Anesthesiology residency at the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas.
Following her residency, Dr. Pechim served as an attending anesthesiologist in Brazil for four years, providing comprehensive perioperative care for a wide range of complex procedures, including neurosurgical, pediatric, adult cardiac, and interventional surgeries. Driven by a profound passion for the physiological complexities of the central nervous system, she is currently completing her Neuroanesthesia Fellowship at the University of Miami. This new and highly organized program aims to build specialists who are deeply passionate about neuroanesthesia. Her commitment to this high-acuity field is further demonstrated by her active participation in research, conference presentations, and continuous learning.
Outside of her demanding work in the operating room, Dr. Pechim enjoys traveling, playing tennis, taking boat rides, and engaging in outdoor activities. She is thoroughly enjoying life in Miami, where exploring new restaurants and going for morning runs on the beach keeps her refreshed and ready to provide the best possible care for her patients.
