DOCS clinics serve as platforms for students to give back, receive mentorship from physicians, and gain invaluable experience as integral members of health care teams. Clinics play a pivotal role in providing essential health care services to our underserved, uninsured, and vulnerable communities.
At all DOCS clinics, student volunteers actively engage in patient care by conducting initial patient histories and physical exams. Collaborating closely with physician volunteers, they develop individualized healthcare plans for each patient. Emphasizing peer-learning, underclassmen and upperclassmen students work together in volunteer teams. Join us at any of our student-run clinics, where healthcare meets compassion, and together, uniting us to shape a healthier and more empowered community.
