We provide cutting-edge genotyping services to support your research endeavors. Whether you’re investigating genetic variations, conducting genome-wide association studies (GWAS), or exploring non-human genotyping, we have decades of experience to guide your research, and your budget. GWAS technologies, like the Illumina Infinium arrays, play a crucial role in unraveling the genetic basis of complex traits and diseases.

Highlighted Applications

  1. Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS)
Whole genome genotyping arrays are an important tool for discovering variants that contribute to human disease. The two primary applications of this technology, genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and copy number variant (CNV) analysis unravel the complex genetic architecture of genetic traits and complex disease.
  2. Custom Genotyping
Our team specializes in designing tailored genotyping solutions for both large-scale and small-scale projects. We’ll work closely with you to select the technology and price point that best aligns with your scientific question and budget.
  3. Non-Human Genotyping
Whether you’re studying model organisms, plants, or other non-human species, we’re here to assist. Our expertise extends to Illumina non-human arrays and individual SNP analysis.
  4. Epigenetics
The Illumina Infinium MethylationEPIC v2 BeadChip is designed for epigenome-wide association studies (EWAS). Targeting over 935,000 CpG sites across biologically significant regions of the methylome, the EPIC v2 maintains backwards compatibility with its predecessor, while including many content enhancements including targeting enhancers, super-enhancers, CTCF-binding sites, CNV detection regions, and open chromatin regions identified by ATAC-Seq and ChIP-seq experiments.
  5. Life Technologies TaqMan Allelic Discrimination Assays
TaqMan 5’-nuclease assay chemistry provides a fast and very robust method to interrogate SNPs. Life Technologies offers 4.5 million predesigned TaqMan SNP assays as well as a custom assay design pipeline. The assay is processed in 384 well plates and DNA plating is automated with the Beckman Biomek FX liquid handling systems.
