Florida-Puerto Rico Collaboration to Reduce Stroke Disparities

The Administrative component (Core A) was designed to organize and support the aims of the Florida Puerto Rico Collaboration to Reduce Stroke Disparities.

Core A is responsible for providing overall program leadership and administration of the various components of the FL-PR CReSD including:

  • Providing centralized administrative support to effectively integrate the collaborative activities between Florida and Puerto Rico.
  • Facilitating communication among multiple stakeholders and the main components of the FL-PR CReSD: the Florida Puerto Rico Stroke Registry, the Research Training and Education Core and the Biostatistics and Data Management Core.
  • Serving as a liaison among the various oversight committees including the Program Advisory Committee and the National Institutes of Neurological Disease and Stroke.
  • Coordinating all meetings and interactions across the FL-PR CReSD
  • Maintaining financial oversight and accountability of the FL-PR CReSD
