The Administrative component (Core A) was designed to organize and support the aims of the Florida Puerto Rico Collaboration to Reduce Stroke Disparities.
Core A is responsible for providing overall program leadership and administration of the various components of the FL-PR CReSD including:
- Providing centralized administrative support to effectively integrate the collaborative activities between Florida and Puerto Rico.
- Facilitating communication among multiple stakeholders and the main components of the FL-PR CReSD: the Florida Puerto Rico Stroke Registry, the Research Training and Education Core and the Biostatistics and Data Management Core.
- Serving as a liaison among the various oversight committees including the Program Advisory Committee and the National Institutes of Neurological Disease and Stroke.
- Coordinating all meetings and interactions across the FL-PR CReSD
- Maintaining financial oversight and accountability of the FL-PR CReSD
