High School Careers in Medicine Workshop

The High School Careers in Medicine Program is an intensive one-week program hosted at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine from Monday, June 24, 2024 – Friday, June 28, 2024. The program introduces rising seniors who attend a Miami-Dade County Public School to medical careers and broadens students’ understanding of the healthcare field. Participants will obtain a better understanding of the importance of research, problem-based learning, academic preparation, and the college application process. Along with networking and mentorship opportunities with University of Miami Miller School of Medicine faculty, residents, and medical students.
